Free offline guilloché pattern generator

A guilloché pattern generator built for watch dials.

Most pattern generators draw abstract line art. Dial Studio generates guilloché the way a dial actually needs it — laid out around a real movement, masked around markers, apertures and sub-dials, previewed as engraved metal, and exported as fabrication-ready files. No rose engine, account or cloud required.

Why a dial-native generator matters

A generic guilloché or spirograph generator gives you a pretty vector, then leaves the hard part to you: fitting it to a dial diameter, clearing the centre hole, opening a date window, reserving sub-dials, and keeping markers legible. Dial Studio does the pattern and the dial engineering together, so what you generate is already shaped for a real watch.

  • Movement-aware layout — centre hole, date window, open-heart and sub-dial apertures, chapter ring and marker spacing.
  • Fast controls — preset, lobes, amplitude and ring step change the look in seconds; deeper controls sit behind disclosures.
  • See the metal — switch from clean line art to a realistic engraved-relief preview with true light and shadow.
  • Fabrication-ready export — SVG, DXF, STEP, STL, PNG and sidecar files for laser, CNC, water jet, rose engine or vendor handoff.

Note: Dial Studio is software and file handoff only — it does not fabricate, order or guarantee physical dials. Exports are fabrication-oriented handoffs; measure, test, verify, then cut.
